Fresh from our own growing tables to your doorstep

With us, you buy directly from the source: no intermediary, no distribution center. While many webshops act as intermediaries, our plants come directly from our own specialized nursery. This means your plants don't have to travel to a distribution center first, but are packed directly for you from the greenhouse.

Shipping schedule: once every two weeks on Monday

To guarantee freshness, we work with a fixed shipping schedule: we collect all orders and ship them once every two weeks on Monday. This minimizes travel time and prevents your plants from being stuck in a sorting center over the weekend. It simply cannot be fresher and healthier! After shipping, DHL and PostNL deliver within 24-48 hours in Belgium and the Netherlands. You can always find the next shipping date on our homepage.

Our packing method

Bare-root for planting

A large portion of our plants are shipped bare-root. We carefully remove the substrate and wrap the roots in moist paper and protective foil.

This is the safest way to transport large plants without damaging the delicate traps. Moreover, it is hygienic (no unwanted insects) and saves weight.

Our plants are strong and will continue to grow rapidly after a short acclimatization period!

💡 Need extra convenience? For bare-root plants, you can add a suitable pot and substrate for just €1. Just moisten and pot directly!

Potted

Sensitive species such as the Cephalotus and our carnivorous plants for beginners are shipped in their pots.

Each product page specifically states whether you will receive the plant bare-root or potted.

What to do after arrival?

1
Pot immediately
First mix water into your soil mixture until it is well moistened, then pot the plant immediately.
2
Watering
Place the pot on a saucer with rainwater for immediate recovery. Carnivorous plants love wet feet!
3
Light and rest
Allow bare-root plants to acclimate for the first few days in a bright spot out of direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn. After a week, they can gradually receive more sun.
4
Support
For long pitchers (such as Sarracenia), use a stick as support against the wind until the plant is well rooted.
