Drosera - sundew
The sundew is a carnivorous plant that catches small insects like flies and sometimes mosquitoes using a sticky trap. Its leaves are covered with trichomes. These are small hairs that, in the case of sundews, secrete a type of sticky substance that traps insects. Once an insect is caught, the small hairs slowly move towards it to digest it.
