Sphagnum moss is ideal for growing various carnivorous plants due to its ideal properties. The moss is of the species Sphagnum cristatum and is harvested from fields managed by Besgrow itself so that it can be harvested in a way that is sustainable and renewable.

Is this living sphagnum moss?
In principle, this is dried moss used as an excellent substrate for carnivorous plants, for which it is not necessary for the moss to be alive. However, in some cases, this dried moss also regrows because it still contains living green parts. We cannot guarantee this, however.
