This Sphagnum is dried and lightly compressed. Before use, place the moss in a shallow amount of water so that it can absorb moisture.

Sphagnum moss is ideal for growing various carnivorous plants due to its excellent properties. The moss is of the species Sphagnum cristatum and is harvested from fields managed by Besgrow itself, ensuring that it is harvested in a sustainable and renewable manner.

Is this live sphagnum moss?
In principle, this is dried moss used as an excellent substrate for carnivorous plants, where it is not necessary for the moss to be alive. However, in some cases, this dried moss also regrows because it still contains live green particles. We cannot guarantee this, however.
