var. rubricorpora (KD-F107A)
var. rubricorpora KD-F107A is what you get when you cross two strong lines and are lucky enough to have them merge into something brilliant. This is the combination of MK-F88 (an exceptional ornata selection) and MK-F27A (atropurpurea), and the result is a rubricorpora form that simply glows.
What makes it special? This plant is bright red, and the F107A has that characteristic rubricorpora body (red base), but with a color intensity that many hybrids lack. The contrast is sharp, the colors are vibrant, and they become even richer in the sun.
This plant comes from a Christian Klein seedling and has exactly the right characteristics of the two parent plants, the dark neck and good shape of F88, but is just a bit more red than F88 due to the influence of F27A.
Characteristics:
- Height/Size: Relatively tall, typical rubricorpora.
- Appearance: Bright red body (rubricorpora), intense contrast, vibrant colors in full sun
- Care requirements: Full sun is essential for those bright colors. Standard Sarracenia care
A plant for those who want a typically elegant rubricorpora beauty.
