Nepenthes "Bloody Mary"

Nepenthes Bloody Mary is an easy beginner's species with beautiful red pitchers. In young plants, the leaves can also sometimes be light red. This, of course, is also where the plant gets its name from. The parent plants of this hybrid are N. ventricosa and N. ampullaria. By crossing these two carnivorous plants, the result is a plant that has the good characteristics of both parent plants and also grows better than a pure species. This pitcher plant easily produces pitchers, and the pitchers also last a long time. This plant is also known as "Nepenthes Lady Luck".


Tip: when the plant arrives, fill the pitchers with water as they have been emptied for shipping. This is not necessary for new pitchers, as the plant produces its own digestive fluids.
