D. binata var. dichotoma
The dichotoma variant can be recognised by the number of times the leaf is split. In the common D. binata T-form, the leaf is branched once, resulting in two leaf halves, whereas in var. dichotoma it is branched four times. In var. multifida there are about ten branches, and in var. multifida f. extrema there can be as many as 30 or 40.
