Sarracenia purpurea ssp. venosa is already known for its charming, squat pitchers and hairy texture, but this plant takes it a step further. This is undoubtedly the best cultivar of its kind. As the name suggests, this selection is known for its deep red, almost blood-colored "belly" and the dramatic contrast with the rest of the plant.
