This Sarracenia x mitchelliana is a cultivated hybrid between Sarracenia leucophylla and Sarracenia purpurea. This plant has been selected for the best characteristics of both plants. The plant has the hardiness of purpurea, while the leucophylla blood in this hybrid provides brighter colors.
