Nepenthes x ventrata is a contraction of the names of the parent plants: ventricosa and alata. This tropical pitcher plant is a strong grower and ideal for an indoor location with plenty of indirect sunlight. This plant also readily produces new pitchers.
Tip: when the plant arrives, fill the pitchers with water as they have been emptied for shipping. This is not necessary for new pitchers as the plant produces its own digestive fluids.
