H. heterodoxa x minor

Heliamphora heterodoxa x minor is a hybrid of two Heliamphora species. Heliamphora or sun pitcher plants are native to tepuis (tabletop mountains) in South America. As the Dutch name suggests, these plants love a lot of sunlight, but they don't like very high temperatures. Heliamphora also have a drainage channel for excess water, so you can easily water this carnivorous plant from above, but the pot of the plant should preferably not stand in a layer of water.

Tip: when the plant arrives, fill the pitchers with water as they have been emptied for shipping.
