As the name might suggest, this is the Cape sundew in English. This plant originates from South Africa. The Cape sundew or Drosera capensis has long been known as the hardiest carnivorous plant for beginners, virtually indestructible. D. capensis can even tolerate light frost and will regrow from its roots. However, we recommend keeping it above freezing.
