Door deze twee vleesetende planten te kruisen met elkaar is het resultaat een plant die de goede eigenschappen van beider ouderplanten heeft en ook beter groeit dan een zuivere soort. Deze bekerplant maakt makkelijk bekers aan en de bekers blijven ook lang goed.
